Merchant Responsibilities
Merchants using Echo Bundles must maintain an up-to-date privacy policy on their Shopify store that complies with applicable privacy laws. Merchants must inform their customers about data collection and processing through the use of Echo Bundles and obtain necessary consents where required.
Information Collected from Merchant Customers
We collect order details shared through Shopify’s API, including order IDs, product details, order values, pricing, and discounts related to your created offers. We also store analytics about extra revenue generated by the merchants. We do not collect or store customer names, emails, payment card details, or sensitive financial information.
Sharing of Information
We may share information with:
- Shopify, as necessary for App functionality and compliance.
- Trusted third-party infrastructure providers (such as AWS or DigitalOcean) to securely host and process data required to operate the App.
- Aggregated and anonymized data for analytics and marketing purposes. Echo Bundles does not sell or share merchant or customer personal information with advertising platforms.
